Glow Tape
Glow tape and glow sticker from LumiGLOW® are convenient glow-in-the-dark products. Usage method is very simple, just peeling off the back liner and then adhere to surface immediately. We can provide glow tape, or big sheet of glow sticker with width of 1.2m. There are 3 glow levels; Standard glow (DIN 67510 class C), High glow (DIN 67510 class D), and Super glow (DIN67510 class E).

Unique characteristic of LumiGLOW® glow tape and glow sticker
- High luminance which meets test criteria of many global standards (JIS, DIN, ISO)
- With pale yellow-white tone color under the light, the signage color is well matched in many area without vivid green color in color-theme controlling area while providing high glowing luminance in the dark
- Able to absorb any kinds of light, including LED lamp, neon lamp, or sunlight.
- Manufactured by using glow pigment which has patent in Japan.
- Our glow tape uses low VOC adhesive to ensure high safety standard and there is no harzardous substances conforming RoHS 2.0.
- Glow tape and glow sticker with High glow class or above are water-resistance goods which can be used both indoor and outdoor.
- There are various size and many classes of glowing performance for your choice.
- Flat and glossy surface allows easy cleaning by just wiping out even attached smut on surface. (Unlike ordinary PVC signage)
- Surface closure material is PET which has better heat tolerance than PVC. This allows longer usage lifetime of signage than ordinary PVC glow signage.

- High luminance which meets test criteria of global standards (DIN 67510 class D and above)
- Provide high glowing luminance conforming global standard within limited budget.
- Able to absorb any kinds of light, including LED lamp, neon lamp, or sunlight.
- Manufactured by highly safe material. There is no hazardous substances conforming RoHS 2.0.
- Glow tape is waterproof. It is good for both indoor and outdoor use.
- Length and width of glow tape can be customized as requested.
- Flat and glossy surface allows easy cleaning by just wiping out even attached smut on surface. (Unlike ordinary PVC signage)
- Surface closure material is PET which has better heat tolerance than PVC. This allows longer usage lifetime of signage than ordinary PVC glow signage.
LumiGLOW® product has weatherability test report to ensure product endurance and many more tests.
LumiGLOW® passed various global standards; for example
- Water resistance test: Submerge a piece of LumiGLOW® sheet for 1 month. It is found that the glowing performance has no significant change.
- Weatherability Test: Do cycle test according to JIS A 1415 standard by spray water for 18 minutes and then shine light with intensity of 180W/m2 by Xenon arc lamp for 102 minutes under ambient temperature of 63 Celcius centigrades and 50% humidity. There is no significant change in glowing performance after repeat this cycle for 1,000 hours (equivalent 5 years of outdoor usage).
- Adhesive Test: Perform test by following methodology in JIS Z 0237 standard for both indoor and outdoor conditions.
- Flamability Test: Perform test by following methodology in ASTM E 162-95 standard.
- Smoke Intensity Test: Perform test by following methodology in ASTM E 662 standard.
- Toxic Gas Generation Test: Perform toxic gas generation by following methodology in SMP-800C standard
- Luminance Test: Perform test by following methodology in various global standards; JIS Z 9107, DIN 67510, ISO 17398
- Luminance Test (Outdoor): Perform test by following methodology in JIS Z 9098 standard and ISO 22578 standard
- Harzardous substances detection: Perform harzardous substances according to RoHS 2.0 standard which is widely applied in US, Europe, and worldwide in order to ensure that glow materials and products from LumiGLOW® and Nexit® are highly safe for human, animal-being and environment (Green product).

There are 3 luminance level of LumiGLOW® glow tape;
General usage instruction for appropriate class
- Standard Glow (DIN67510 class C): Good for ordinary building or building with sufficient light source (Not less than 50 lux)
- High Glow (DIN67510 class D): Good for middle risk building or building with low light environment
- Super Glow (DIN67510 class E): Good for high risk building or building with very low light environment
- Ultimate Glow (ISO 22578:2021): Good for area which requires ultra long glowing time such as outdoor usage / very low light building
Usage method and examples of glow tape
- Install on stair step.
- Install on quarter landing and handrail.
- Install on wall trim for path marking and door trim to indicate exit.
- Install on pushing bar of evacuation exit.
- Adhere on floor as path marking for emergency purpose.
- Adhere surrounding of machine or big furniture (for safety purpose).

Glow Tag
Glow tag (Small piece of glow sticker) from LumiGLOW® is self-adhesive glow product. Luminance level is High glow class. It can be glow more than 12 hours (in completely dark room) after full light absorption. Glow tag is very convenient by just peeling off back liner and adhere on surface immediately. It can be used in various application and making glow spot in the dark. Our glow tag is very appropriate for household use and office use.
